CARLO FIMIANI

Carlo Fimiani, graduated with honors in modern guitar from G.I.T. in Los Angeles (USA) and C.P.M. in Milan and in Jazz guitar from the Conservatory of Salerno.

He has several records under his own name to his credit and many others with artists such as Gino Paoli, Mango, Ornella Vanoni, Tullio De Piscopo, and Marco Zurzolo.

Live as well, in addition to these collaborations, he can count those with Diane Schuur, Tiziano Ferro, Dario and Alfonso Deidda, Gavin Harrison, Andy Sheppard, Don Moye, Richard Galliano, Carl Anderson, Malika Ayane, playing at Montreal Jazz Fest, Umbria Jazz, Pomigliano Jazz, Ischia Week End Jazz Festival, Blue Note in NY and Milan, Villa Celimontana jazz in Rome, Incontri Internazionali della musica in Salerno, Villa Manzoni jazz in Milan.

With the Acoustic duo (with Andrea Quartarone) he made his debut at the Teatro Massimo in Palermo as part of the events for the "Week of Cultures."

Currently, Fimiani represents one of the Italian points of reference both as a session man and in the field of guitar teaching given his collaboration with industry magazines and online sites including Musicoff.com
