MARCO GALIERO

Marco Galiero began studying piano and guitar in 1990. From 1996 to 2000 he studied electric bass with a private teacher, laying the foundation for his future musical career.

In 2003 he participated in a workshop held by John Patitucci at the "Saint Louis College of Music" in Rome. Between 2002 and 2004 he deepened his study of electric bass with Maestro Gianfranco Gullotto, also at Saint Louis. In 2005 he attended a training course held by Dario Deidda at the Conservatory of Naples.

From 2004 to 2008 he studied harmony and improvisation technique with Maestro Valerio Silvestro at the "Mad School" in Naples. Between March 2007 and June 2008 he attended a training course in "Psychology of Learning" with Dr. Valerio Salzano.
In 2008, he graduated in "Jazz and Performance" at the "Civica Scuola di Musica" in Capannori, getting top marks.
In 2009 he studied jazz guitar for three years at the "G. Puccini" conservatory in La Spezia.

Since 2000, Marco has actively participated in numerous music festivals, both in Italy and abroad. He has been part of various tours, including the Conad tour with Peppe Vessicchio's orchestra, and has participated in prestigious festivals.

He has collaborated live and/or in the studio with numerous Italian and international artists, including Frank Gambale, Robben Ford, Mike Stern, Andy Timmons, Paul Gilbert, Alain Caron, Carl Verheyen, Guthrie Govan, and many more.
