Gabriele Morcavallo is a talented drummer with a comprehensive musical training. He began by studying classical piano, but soon turned to Drums under the guidance of Maestro Michele Rabbia. He deepened his musical education at theUniversity of Music and continued to perfect his skills with prominent teachers such as Michele Rabbia, Ettore Mancini, Antonio Golino, Alfredo Golino

He enriched his education by participating in seminars and master classes with renowned drummers such as Peter Erskine, Terry Bozzio, Vinnie Colaiuta and many others.

As an artist, Morcavallo performs in a variety of contexts, from clubs to theaters, participating in major music events such as PercFest Laigueglia, Groove Day Milano, Groove Night Milano, Drummers International, International Percussion and Drums Competition (guest of honor at Accademia Wizdom along with Dom Famularo and Frederic Macarez) and many others. His collaborations include prominent names such as Mannarino, Mietta, Geoff Westley, Tony Esposito, Nicky Nicolai, Claudio Corvini, Stefano Di Battista, etc., demonstrating his versatility as a drummer, co-arranger, arranger and producer.

In the teaching field, Morcavallo has been active for many years, founding in 2011 the Charleston school in Rome, which has become one of the most appreciated and followed teaching facilities in Italy, has tutored hundreds of students and given the best Italian talents the opportunity to distinguish themselves with the National Charleston Competition with juries composed of the greatest Italian drummers and linked to physical events (Groove Day and 100% Drummers) attracting the collaboration of companies such as Tama, Zlidjian, Meinl, Respighi, DW.

He currently personally and live supervises students in his school plus online students and in the long distance sessions he holds in different regions of Italy. He has been an international endorser of Dixon, Sonor, Meinl, Paiste, Istanbul Agop brands.

He is currently an endorser of the brands DS Drum, Sabian, Vater, Aquarian, AMA Cajon and Boxy System environments.
