COURSE DETAILS
The guitar course curated by Enrico Santacatterina and Alberto Lombardi offers a unique and engaging approach designed for musicians of all levels.
The lessons in which the two musicians compare notes not only allow you to learn new techniques, but also, and more importantly, to understand and categorize what you may already know how to do but have never named, enriching your musical awareness.
The course begins with an introduction to rhythm guitar, where you learn basic techniques and discover how to create effective grooves. Next, we move on to fundamental chords and harmonic progressions, which are essential for building a solid musical foundation. Strumming techniques are explored in detail, improving left and right hand coordination.
Arpeggios and fingerpicking are covered in depth, introducing participants to more melodic and articulate playing. Scales and improvisation are another focus of the course, providing the foundation for creating personal solos and improvisations. In addition, space is devoted to the use of guitar effects, such as delay, reverb and overdrive, and how to integrate them into one's sound.
The course continues with advanced rhythm guitar techniques, including syncopations, tempo changes and use of dynamics to enrich the accompaniment. Coordination exercises are essential to improve playing accuracy.
Finally, participants are guided in developing their own musical style, combining all the techniques learned during the course.
Have you been playing for some time but constantly feel like you are "lagging behind" others in your theoretical and technical vocabulary? This course is ideal for you!
