MORENO VIGLIONE
Moreno Viglione guitarist, composer, arranger and guitar teacher has 30 years of experience. He has played on tour and in the studio with many nationally and internationally renowned artists such as Patty Pravo, Paola Turci, Fabrizio Moro, Mimmo Locasciulli, Francesco De Gregori and many others.
Since 2013 he has been for five seasons the resident band guitarist of the Webnotte (la Repubblica) program hosted by journalists and music critics Ernesto Assante and Gino Castaldo where he has played with many artists such as Ron, Enrico Ruggeri, Francesco Renga, Carmen Consoli, Luca Carboni, Noemi, Irene Grandi, Manuel Agnelli, and many others.
With Piji and Bateaumanouche he participated in Fiorello's show "Edicola Fiore" for the month of February 2016 as the guitarist in the resident band. In 2022 he is the guitarist in the resident band of the program Double Rock with E. Assante and G. Castaldo for Loft tv.
As a composer for film and TV he wrote the soundtrack for the film "The Secret Guest" , music for three seasons of the Rai Tre program "Circo Massimo," original music for the programs Ballarò (raiTre) and Di Martedì (La7), and original songs for the first season of the international format "when Patrick met Kylie" for National Geographic.
He boasts many articles and interviews in the trade press, and in 2011 and 2012 he edited the educational column "gypsy and more" and "country and more" in the historic periodical for guitarists Guitar Club in addition to the X-ray column with many reviews and tests of musical instruments and accessories.
He is an endorser of Acron guitars with two Moreno Viglione signature models and Pleks picks with a model made to his specifications.
He has, finally, an intense live activity in both trio and quintet with his own Gypsy Jazz Trio formation, and 3 records under his own name to his credit.
