It is essential to have good "computational speed" to visualize and calculate distances between notes and intervals. This ability is essential for improvement and learning in music.
#02 The Color Notes and their applications
The focus is on adding "color notes" to four-voice harmonization. These notes add nuances and unique characteristics to the chords.
#03 The doubling technique and thick notes.

VALERIO SILVESTRO
Valerio began studying piano when he was only 4 years old. From 1985 to 1987 he attended Berklee College of Music and studied privately with Jerry Bergonzi. Back in Italy he studied with jazz pianist Enrico Pierannunzi and joined the "Italian Youth Jazz Orchestra" conducted by Bruno Tommaso.
He is a member of the "Larry Nocella Quartet" with which he plays at the End of the Line with trumpeter Chet Baker.
In '91 he recorded his first album with Jerry Bergonzi "Napoli Connection" (Red Records). He also began anintense teaching activity and founded the M.A.D.
In 2010 he obtained the INJAM (European Improvvisation Jazz Master) at Siena Jazz and presented a record at the World Congress of Artistic Vocology in Ravenna.
In his career he has also played with Tullio De Piscopo, Fabrizio Bosso, Steve Grossman, Mike Manieri, Enrico Rava, Edoardo De Crescenzo and many others.
