COURSE DETAILS
Giorgio Terenziani's bass guitar course is an unmissable opportunity for all bass players who wish to push their technical skills to the highest level.
This video course, structured in 10 lessons and a booklet with all music transcriptions, explores a wide range of advanced techniques for the electric bass, with a particular focus on the Rock and Metal genres.
Beginning with a lesson on posture and breathing, Giorgio emphasizes the importance of keeping the body relaxed to improve speed and efficiency.
Next, he introduces the use of the metronome in a "counterintuitive" way to develop consistent speed and endurance, emphasizing the importance of studying at the top of the neck.
The lessons continue with an in-depth study of scales and symmetries, which are considered a real gymnasium for developing speed.
One of the most engaging parts of the course is the three-finger technique, with detailed exercises starting at 140 BPM and going up to 300 BPM!
Here, students learn how to manage accents and use the phalangette correctly to achieve optimal speed.
Another crucial lesson involves string jumps, a complex exercise requiring coordination and mechanical ability of the left hand, with various patterns to improve both speed and strength.
George also does not neglect sweep and fast arpeggios, providing ways to speed up and improve their execution, using thumb, index finger and tapping technique.
In fact, the course also includes a lesson on linear tapping, a solo technique that requires great strength and coordination.
Not only that, Giorgio explores polyphonic tapping, for playing multiple chords and lines, improving finger independence and accuracy.
Finally, the course culminates with a lesson on combined harmonics and tapping to create unique sounds and complex melodies by integrating natural and artificial harmonics with tapping.
Ultimate Rock Bass Technique offers a comprehensive and detailed course for all bassists who wish to master advanced techniques and significantly improve their level of playing.
